Brand Study:
Brooke Wilder

Brooke Wilder is an ethical, slow fashion brand located in Charleston, South Carolina. Each article of clothing is made using natural fabrics and dyes and hand stitched for a truly one of a kind clothing experience.

The client wanted to recreate the brand and marketing to showcase their beautiful clothing in a more focused way online. Gregg Lmbton-Carr provided the stunning photography and we designed the logo, brand guidelines and eCommerce website. Below you’ll see an overview our work for this project.

BRANDING & MARKETING MATERIALS

The client wanted to capture the mood of her work and “Brooke’s” personality using the descriptive words, natural, dramatic & romantic.
She wanted to pair enigmatic & sensual femininity with the complex beauty found in nature – concepts that are expressed through each garment and models that are featured wearing them.

The client has a love for textures, patterns and soft – yet moody color schemes. All contributing to the unique style that is represented by each Collection. To achieve this in terms of branding & marketing, we chose to pair light & feminine colors with darker, brooding tropical plants and a handwritten signature to bring Brooke to life.

RESPONSIVE WEBSITE DESIGN

The website was designed to be a clean canvas to prominently feature the garments and the client’s artistic vision.
We developed it using WordPress and WooCommerce for the shopping cart in order to leverage it’s vast opportunities for customization. Knowing that people do most of their web browsing on mobile devices, we created this website with a “mobile first” mentality to ensure that each user has a great experience regardless of the screen size.
